'Wonder' is one of the few surviving Itchen Ferry cutters that were built around Southampton in the 19th and early 20th centuries. 'Wonder' was built by Dan Hatcher on the River Itchen in about 1860.

Now she has changed hands she will be leaving the Solent area for the first time in those 150 odd years. She is going to the boatyard at Hollowshore near Faversham on the East Coast.
